About
I believe in considering all aspects of health - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual – and supporting the body’s ability to bring all of these pieces into balance. While treating symptoms may be useful at times, true health does not emerge until the cause of the problem is addressed and balance is restored. Having been through many health challenges myself, I know the healing process inside and out. For complex health conditions and imbalances, a broad perspective is key.
I use my training in nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathy, somatic re-education, biotherapeutic drainage, and traditional nature cure therapies to identify the most effective way for each person to rebuild his or her health. |
I studied Biology at Ball State University in my home state of Indiana and went on to earn a naturopathic medical degree (N.D.) from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon in 2009. I hold a license in the state of Vermont, as Indiana does not currently license naturopathic doctors.
Over the years I have worked with people of all ages, suffering from a wide variety of health conditions. In particular, I have much experience working with those with gastrointestinal conditions, dermatological (skin) conditions, autoimmunity, hormone imbalances, and women's health conditions. |
